Revival story

QC Fuel was a local favorite for years, until a quiet closure in 2024 left the Quad Cities without their go-to coffee stop. Mitch and Dara Dietrich, longtime locals, stepped in to bring it back, and in August 2025 they reopened with a new location on Utica Ridge Road.
Dara and Mitch are a happily married, ex-athlete couple committed to giving love and service to the community through high quality coffee and quick, healthy, delicious products our customers enjoy.
They want to share their inspirational story of overcoming hardships and obstacles, including their own disabilities. They face sensory and autism limitations, but those limitations do not define them. They bring the determination, talent, hard work, ingenuity, passion, perseverance and sacrifice from their past experiences to keep QC Fuel thriving.
We're here to do more than pour coffee. Every visit should feel easy, warm, and familiar.
